Round Britain 2012 Intro

ON 5th MAY I WILL BEGIN SAILING AROUND BRITAIN CLOCKWISE FROM PWLLHELI, RETURNING IN SEPTEMBER.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL JOIN ME ALONG THE WAY AND WILL ADD THEIR EXPERIENCES TO THIS BLOG.

Week 2 - Wednesday

So the scallop fishing fleet started leaving last night; a sure sign that the weather has improved.

We will follow the rest of the boats out this morning and aim for Portpatrick at last.

More low pressure on the way, so I need to get Peter to East Loch Tarbet before it arrives.

I wonder if I should have done this trip in the winter, when the weather was much better!
