Week 3 - Sunday - off to Lamlash (Arran)

Looks like the weather has finally broken and it is getting warmer at last. We are leaving tarbert today for a 6 hour sail to the Isle of Arran,

Paul arrived yesterday with the predicted volume of food! He has been cooking for a week and I am looking forward to sampling the different meals that he has kindly cooked and frozen.

His arrival was timely, as I was in need of some engine related counselling (!) after finding a diesel leak in one of the fuel injectors. He identified that we need some copper washers but that is easier said than done. As a townie I am used to being able to buy such things easily and at any time of the day/week. Not the case here, so we will live with the leak until we can find a friendly fisherman with spare engine parts.

In case you were worried, Peter made it safely back to the mainland with no mishaps.

Will send more news soon; I suspect that the engine will have further tricks to play on us.
