Week 2/3- Saturday - changeover day

Have just seen Peter off onto the bus for his epic journey back home and i must say that i am sad to see him go.

It was disappointing to sail so little, but we still had a fun week. We seemed to laugh a lot and he was kind enough to put up with my constant string of boring anecdotes!

As always our range of conversation was ridiculously diverse. We tended to check lots of things on google, so here is a sample from the browser history:

Sassenach, rhodedendron, cubby broccoli, Denmark fur trade, hms brocklesby, Ailsa Craig, Ronald rae, Falkirk wheel, abbotsbury swannery, Francis of assissi, bickerton bicycle, .........and about a thousand weather checks!!

Do these look like the discussion topics of sane men!.

It has been impossible to warm up in this N. wind on a draughty boat with no heating and I have never felt so cold. As an indication for those who know me; I have not worn shorts for over a week!

Paul wilsdon is on his way and we will start our next week of adventure with better weather.....please!

For me it is back to the boat to give the engine a little more oil!
