Round Britain 2012 Intro

ON 5th MAY I WILL BEGIN SAILING AROUND BRITAIN CLOCKWISE FROM PWLLHELI, RETURNING IN SEPTEMBER.
FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL JOIN ME ALONG THE WAY AND WILL ADD THEIR EXPERIENCES TO THIS BLOG.

Kirkudbright (1)

We are now safely moored up in Kirkudbright and I am relieved that we have just about met the first week's schedule.

It was sad to see Rob and Paul go having bonded together as a crew; we have really been through the wringer this week!

Peter has now joined and has past the first test...........he has added to our magnificent food larder with some amazing cakes, made by one of his colleagues.

Gales forecast tomorrow, so we will be doing some jobs, emptying the bilges (again!) and looking for entertainment. I suspect this will involve a launderette!

    Congratulations on doing so well in the first week despite all the bad weather! Cakes look fab...loved the photo of the boat in the moonlight.
